I just don't get you gentiles...

... and your fascination with multiple versions of ""Here Comes Santa Claus."

dcrtv.com - washington dc/baltimore area radio/tv/media: "WASH Goes XMAS - 11/17 - Morning man Loo Katz kicked off adult contemporary WASH's annual all-Christmas tunefest this morning. It's the second area station to go all-XMAS. Baltimore's adult contemporary WLIF flipped to seasonal sounds on Monday....."

What, am I your only goy friend or am I just the only shiksa reading your blog these days?

Most of us really hate that particular Xmas song, just like you do. My CT is that it gets overplayed during the season because shoppers speed up when they hear it so they can get out of the store sooner. Excellent remedy for long lines near break or closing times.

I wanted to call attention to an online petition re: the urgent issue of global warming, demanding that George Bush take action now to resolve America’s dependency on oil, and address the very real and very dangerous threat of global warming, without further delay. It is located at http://action.sierraclub.org/getserious.

I’m sure we’re all aware of the level of disinterest the Bush administration has shown towards the very real and pending threat of global warming, going so far as to dispute it’s existence. After the recent election results however, he has since admitted that we are a country addicted to oil, and has stated several times that he hopes to work with the newly appointed democrats to “work together” and “accomplish great things”.

Frankly, with the issues we are facing with global warming, could there BE a better opportunity for him to demonstrate his willingness to work together? Let’s put him to the test on this very important issue and see what happens. Let’s tell President Bush to Get Serious. For those who might want to say a little more, these petitions may be personalized.

Time really is of the essence, so please take a moment to sign the petition and make a statement, and please share with your readers. With the recent election, we’ve shown that our voices count, maybe we can do it again for the planet.
